Restaurant Athen - Bremen

It’s a very nicely decorated restaurant. Everything from the itinerary, music, waiters, meals is Greek, And authentic. The service is really polite And helpfull, meals are really big And good. The lamb is must have. We loved the Uzo, traditional anis strong drink, that was a complimetary drink prior ro the dinner. The prices are low to mid.

In general good quality of the food. However I took a Moussaka which as written in the menu should be made with eggplants. It was made also with zucchini. I find ver unprofessional and risky to put ingredients not envisaged in the recipe nor in the menu. I would have expected some excuses from the staff who instead said that sometimes zucchini are put in the moussaka. Advice: if you do not have enough eggplants for thr moussaka just do not do it!

We found this lovely restaurant whilst visiting a local bar and went for an evening meal there a couple of days later. The portions were very generous and filling. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money.
