La bonne Auberge - Breil-sur-Roya

This restaurant is the best in the city if you want to taste local cuisine. in the old town it is one of the narrow streets where there is no traffic to disturb, only perhaps the passing on of locals over their business. they sit outside and have a magnificent view of the traditional houses in this beautiful, friendly little historic city.

I was more than once with friends in this restorer. we tried many things that were all good and tasty

The place you want to find in a small mountain village friendly service, delicious local cuisine, beautiful location. both starters (courgette pie and fried aubergine) and net (homemade pasta with bark and steak) were great. we were lucky to get a table out.

This was our first thought as it was on our doorstep After a hard day walking we wanted something hearty and the meal was just that The waitstaff was friendly and agreeable and we enjoyed our meal and wine immensely not to mention the dessert...Shall walk it off tomorrow!

We went to the bonne auberge to celebrate a family birthday. The welcome was warm and it turned out to be a particularly memorable lunch. The bonne auberge is in the old town and is a true local restaurant. We had local specialities as the...starters and homemade pasta with beef as a main. They very kindly did a birthday cake for us as dessert. In an age where you can go to beautiful villages and find exactly the same pizzas, steak and fries etc everywhere, it was a delight to taste this village's own local specialties, and all clearly freshly made. Highly recommended.
