Contribuiți la feedbackThe formerly known pub is now called King Charles III and offers a refreshing and cozy atmosphere. The ambiance was fantastic, and the food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The staff were extremely friendly, even asking for our feedback on the new dishes we tried, which were both tasty and reasonably priced. I would recommend this place for a meal with friends or just for drinks.
Revitalised village pub now renamed King Charles 111 following change of style. Sunday lunch only at present, but plans for the future. A warm welcome as historic hostelry becomes a social meeting place again.
We enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch insofar as the ingredients and the way the food was prepared /cooked. Unfortunately, the place was nowhere as busy as it should have been........which resulted in the one downside the lady behind the bar was under employed and wanted to chat too much
Service very good: friendly and efficient. Menu is limited, which follows the tried and trusted belief that better to do six things well than twenty six things badly. Also limited wine selection (certainly by the glass) but all are decent and drinkable. Atmosphere was OK. Last time we visited it was the Pedders Inn and there has been a superficial redecoration to make it look like a gastro pub: with mixed success. Food is good and well presented. Homemade ice cream was grainy and disappointing. Overall a clear attempt to punch above its weight as a fine dining experience and for the most part succeeds. Worth a second helping.
Open Wednesday to Sunday. Found this place on a dog friendly site under the name The Peddars Inn name changed approx 6 years ago. Whilst the menu was limited (only 3 options for main meal), the food was excellent. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant.
