Absolute poor value today Pea leek and cheddar tart off the lunch classics menu not a starter )with pea shoots and balsamic dressing COST £7.50 The tart was tiny and slightly over baked with a sprig of peashoot only. Very disappointing!

I visit here regulary and it is always great food and coffee. We visit as a family often for lunch or a drink and cake. They have a great selection of gluten free options on both the menu and the cake offers. A personal favourite is the soup and cheese scone, the scones are huge so bare in mind they are very filling! A great atmosphere and always bright and clean.

Top bistro. Great service. Top quality food. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. And service was fantastic. Always a smile.

Prefer the atmosphere of this nice Bistro to the hurly burly of the Stag Bar. Good choices on a fairly wide menu. Slightly more expensive than the Bar or carvery option, but enjoyable.
