Stracathro Services - Brechin

This used to be a good place to stop for a toilet stop a quick bite to eat. The restaurant toilets are closed you have to now que in a long queue for the use of 1 toilet in the petrol station. Absolutely useless!! Get the restaurant/ toilets back up running!!

I stopped for a break, only to find it closed! I've been here countless times and never encountered this before. I had to go to the petrol station to use the restroom and grab a snack instead. I learned that the shop and café have been closed since the pandemic, which was very disappointing. To top it off, the fuel prices are absurd—£1.79 for petrol!

Only Discovered this little Gem by word of mouth and they were not wrong ! The Chilie Con Carne I’ve just had was in my opinion the best I have ever had ! So a huge Well Done on beating my wifes Will definitely be using all the time now ! The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them !!!!

The staff is friendly, but the service is slow, and the food is quite pricey. It's the typical experience of high prices for what you get. On the plus side, there's ample parking since it's located right next to Stracathro Hospital, which owns most of the surrounding land.

I've been visiting this establishment since I was a kid, and now I'm almost 50. The food is wonderful, the staff are extremely friendly, and there's plenty of parking available for both cars and HGVs.
