Contribuiți la feedbackWe stumbled upon this restaurant while heading to a nearby campground. Rosie, the manager, was incredibly friendly and extremely helpful! We ordered a 190 Octane, a 54 T-Bird, and a non-alcoholic Chocolate Russian. Wow! They were absolutely perfect. The next time we're in town, I definitely want to return and try a different flavor. I've heard the banana daiquiri is amazing!
This restaurant is a bit off the highway and can be tricky to reach. The menu is extensive but not particularly diverse. However, some of their daiquiris are quite tasty! The mudslide has a delicious milkshake-like flavor, while the Bayou Special captures the essence of the bayou in a pleasant way. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be very strong. I understand that a daiquiri is primarily made with sugar, but come on, add a bit more alcohol! One thing that could have earned them an extra star is the store inside. They sell beer and liquor, along with household essentials like sugar, coffee, and drain cleaner. It's an odd mix, but I’m always intrigued by quirky shops like that. Additionally, the restrooms are very clean. Overall, the experience is decent, but you might be better off venturing into Lafayette for more options.
What a fantastic little discovery this place was! On our way back to our cabin at Cajun Country Cottages, we stumbled upon this spot that serves daiquiris in a small building next to a bar. We took a look at the menu and learned they offer alcoholic drinks made with a tropical breeze machine, as well as standard beverages inside. The woman behind the counter was incredibly friendly and helped us with some great recommendations. It was the perfect refreshment to beat the Louisiana heat. I ordered the peach fuzz, and my wife chose a traditional daiquiri. Both drinks were delicious, but we both agreed that the peach fuzz was the standout. Truly delightful! If we weren't just passing through, I have no doubt we'd be coming here all the time.
The bar is now closed because of Kovid
Love it a very beautiful place.
