Caffe' Vergnano - Bray

Avoid like the plague, over 30 minute wait for 3 breakfast’s and omelette,food was cold, some of the meat had sour taste,

Superb. We got there at 12.30 so it wasn’t ready for lunch till one. It was very busy as it was a lovely day. We sat inside and the waiter was very busy but he was extremely nice and told us he would be with us in 10 minutes. He eventually got to us and we had cappuccinos which were delicious. Another waitress came in at 1 and eventually we ordered. It was so relaxing just sitting by the door that we didn’t mind waiting at all. The food was excellent we both went for BLT and the chips were delicious. It’s a really beautiful place to have food and drinks if you want. Full bar. The staff even though busy were just lovely and we will definitely be back.

My girlfriend and I had lunch in Caffe Vergnano Bar and Eatery today. This establishment is classy with a modern vibe yet nods to the past Victorian times. The food is very good and reasonably priced. We just had a starter each of Goats cheese salad and BBQ wings. I had a pint of Smithwicks and my partner two glasses of Guinness. The bar tender and our waitress looked after all our needs. For mains we had fish as we were by the sea and were hoping for fresh fish and it was just that. I had the Cajun burger which was huge and accompanied with fries. The staff here are very attentive and humoursome,. They like to joke and smile which is nice to see in any workplace these days. Reception staff equally as nice and attentive. Full marks for our visit and be assured, we will be back on our next visit to Ireland.

Currently sitting in this fabulous cafe on a freezing cold day in Ireland. We are visiting from the states and have been met with the kind of hospitality and friendliness that the Irish are known for. Nothing has been too much trouble and all the staff seem very well trained and warm. The coffee is very tasty if not better than alot of coffees i've got back home in Manhattan. Top marks also for the food which went down a treat on this very cold day. Look forward to returning here when I return to Ireland next year. Keep up the good work guys. It has been a pleasure.
