Good vegan options, both sweet and savoury. Great atmosphere. Definitely recommend

Came here for a light lunch and really enjoyed their Dante vegan sandwich, one of a couple of specialist options they had. Soup was nice too and, though the place was cramped, the service was friendly and chatty. There's even a little urban garden across the way with wild herbs and such. Would definitely go back.

This place has utter charm and artisan food. Though not vegetarian or vegan, they're committed to quality and local produce and cater for vegans and vegetarians well. Their soups are to die for. Paninis with artisan local Firehouse Bakery breads and artisan produce such as homemade pesto, aubergine, courgette, etc, are delicious. A wonderful atmosphere.

I recently visited Caffe Letterario Gatta Nera and was thrilled to find a slice of vegan aubergine and chocolate cake! Previously, they also offered vegan chocolate and strawberry cake, as well as vegan coffee and walnut cake. It’s a lovely place to grab a light lunch. If it's crowded, you might also want to check out Forno Ragazzi just a few doors down for a quick bite. This is an update to my previous review from January 21, 2019.
