Restaurant Cristal - Braunwald

After a winter hiking tour I stopped at Cristal for a coffee break. The location is great - sunny the whole afternoon and with superb views of the surrounding mountains.Friendly and smiling welcome - although it was the last day of the winter season.I chose a homemade LInzer Torte with vanilla ice-cream: quite decent, though not exceptional.Along with an apple juice and a coffee the check amounted to CHF15 - a cheap price considering the top location.

We had a wonderful cup of soup and chips. The service was top notch. The menu had limited choices, but the soup was surprisingly delicious!
