Mariners Arms - Braunton

We stopped by to watch the West Ham Europa League semifinals while vacationing in Croyde. The manager, Lee, was very welcoming from the start. Sometimes when you visit a local spot, it can feel unwelcoming, but that was not the case here at all. Lee gave us a quick tour to help us navigate the pub and showed us where everything was for later. The pub was clean and spacious, a charming old village country pub with excellent service and friendly patrons to chat with. Although they are not currently serving food, they plan to reopen the kitchen soon. Lee recommended the delicious Meraki pizza nearby. We were allowed to bring the pizza into the pub as long as we purchased drinks. Thank you for a great experience!
