I'd come here regularly if in the area. Tasty food and great service. Sat at the bar and enjoyed conversation with the folks around me. Atmosphere was really nice. Also great was their beer selection. Knocking down a star for high prices I think I got 7 very small pieces of tofu in my $16 pad thai (most I've ever spent on that dish). Given how inexpensive tofu normally is that's hard to understand.

With so few eateries to choose from in Brattleboro, High Thai is a great choice. Very warm and welcoming owner/staff with a tasty menu selection. It is a relaxed and casual atmosphere- exactly what we wanted!There are vegan and vegetarian selections- and when giving my order, I was asked if I wanted my dish more or less spicy, which I found helpful.I had the veggie samosas which were crispy outside and with a moist vegetable filling which were extremely good- and for the main I had the massaman curry with vegetables- which is a mild and very flavorful dish.Also a good beer and wine selection. Highly recommended for Thai dining!

Ate here because of good Yelp! reviews. Terrific location right at town center. Nice atmosphere, warmly welcomed and menu explained. Good beer selection. Spouse had Winter Noodle Soup because she cannot tolerate spices. I got Green Curry Noodle special which is spicy. Had a Lagunitas draft beer, outstanding!Self-service ordering at bar and use of water station, great idea that I wish others used. The spring roll appetizer was outstanding! Great sauce, not the same generic duck sauce we usually get. Looks home made! Served with Bibb lettuce, thinly sliced carrot matchsticks, and bean sprouts for a veggie roll up. Really good, perhaps the best I've had anywhere!My Green Curry was simply outstanding. Creamy from coconut, with moderate spice that definitely packs a punch. Lots of veggies (mainly green beans and eggplant) with mung bean sprouts. So great! One of the, if not the, best Thai dishes I've ever had. I want this dish weekly for the rest of my life!Spouse's Winter Noodle Soup was flavorful despite the vegetarian stock. Slight spiciness. Great service. Owner explained that his co-owner's parents own Thai restaurants, but the food here is what they eat at home. Love it!Will definitely return!

Has a small menu but the food is delicious. Lots of choices for vegetarians and.offers beer, wine cocktails. The prices are reasonable. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Very casual interior. Parking lot nearby.
