They offer veganized versions of traditional Slovak cakes and pastries, raw cakes, sour pastries and much more. To be honest, it doesn't matter what you taste, everything is delicious! I personally really enjoy their 'traditional' pastries like Perník, Bábovka, Moravské koláče etc. Every single bite brings childhood memories, but in contrast to gluten and cruelty free When it comes to vegan dess as a whole, I think the scale is tipped to raw cakes and it is super refreshing to find a place that traditional bakes. Especially since these guys are great in it! Your banana bread, although not traditional for Slovakia, is undoubtedly the best I have ever had, and the 'Krémeš' is a must. So if you're in town, I'll make sure you won't regret it.
The restaurant offers a variety of vegan pastries, both savory and sweet options.
This vegan zero waste restaurant offers a variety of delicious products. We initially went for the traditional Slovak pastries with poppy seeds, but ended up buying even more and returning for a second visit. The pastries are not always available in the morning or afternoon, so it's worth checking. During our first visit, we purchased poppy and cheese strudel, bacon biscuits, pizza pastries, meat-filled pastries, cheesecake, and cake slices. On our second visit, we got more pizza pastries, meat-filled rolls, and pastries with poppy seeds and walnuts (which also come in caramel and chocolate flavors). The cheese substitute was great and we particularly enjoyed the traditional pastries with poppy flowers. The pizza pastry was delicious (we went back for seconds) and the bacon biscuits had a strong bacon flavor.
This restaurant has a wide variety of items including soap, and many other useful goods. The selection is extensive and perfect for anyone who is trying to live a zero waste lifestyle. Although the space is small with only two tables, you can still enjoy a coffee or cake while browsing the many items available for purchase.
I love the idea zero waste, vegan and gluten free. Some of their products are amazing and some are just good/normal. I think its mostly because everything is gluten free and its harder to make. The staff is nice. Prices bit higher but normal for vegan and gluten free food.
