Contribuiți la feedbackI have been a loyal customer of this place for many years. It is a beloved pizza spot in Brantford, always bustling with customers. Please note that they only offer take-out service.
This is the only place you should go if you are looking for a panzerotti.
This restaurant serves one of the best deep-fried panzerottis we have ever tasted! We highly recommend it. Just make sure to ask for half pepperoni, as the full portion can be too much.
I order two large double crust pizzas with 5 items about once every 6 or 7 weeks. Have done this for a long time. Tonight, they delivered the pizzas with a very thin crust! I gave the pizzas back, and called and told them I want to re-order and they told me I did not order double crust. I would not even bother ordering without DOUBLE CRUST! They basically called me a liar. It's very unfortunate and actually upsets me, but I guess I am done with Gigi's Pizza after many years of being a loyal customer.
It had been years since we'd tried Gigi's, for a few reasons. Decided to give them another shot. Wings and panzerotti. We love their wings, but the small order has only FIVE small wings.. perhaps enough for a child's meal? The order also comes with potato wedges which are great as long as we order them 'well done', and it is supposed to also come with celery and carrot sticks. In the past, we were finding that the veggies were extremely limp and inedible. Apparently they prep their veggies on Tuesday to last for the week, so they're feeling a little limp by end of week! This time however, they were forgotten and omitted altogether! We subbed the ranch dip for blue cheese dip, but didn't really need much without any veggies to dip.The panzerottis are so good when they're just fresh. They are deep fried, and cripsy on the outside when they're fresh = amazing! Unfortunately they only provide a tiny little container of red sauce for dipping.. 2 oz if you're lucky = not enough for a panzerotti!I'm no a big fan of whatever type of cheese it is that they used to use, which is anothe reason we stopped frequenting Gigi's. It seemed ok this time, but will keep my eye on it. It is a quality issue.Gigi's hours aren't great. Closed on Sundays, Mondays, and holidays. Meaning, this weekend they enjoyed a 3 day weekend off. How a pizza place can afford to miss out on Sundays and Mondays each week is confusing! They are also not open for lunch ever, with their opening being late afternoon each day.All in all, the food is pretty good, the quality, value, and hours could be better.
