Sushi Eight - Brant Canada

Waiters were no good. Unfriendly. Didn’t check on us. 1 girl ended up having to take over our table after we flagged her down because our waitress abandoned us. 5 empty plates piled up on our table, empty drinks for about 15 minutes. We had to call someone and ask for drinks. The girl with pink hair was the only friendly girl. Asked where our food was and one of them shouted “its cooking!” With attitude from across the room. The buffet is tiny and unimpressive. Half of the pans were empty and what wasn’t empty only had a tiny bit left. we asked if it would be refilled. We were told yes. It wasn’t refilled. They don’t have debit. I literally didn’t even want to pay. 27 dollars for dinner and they charged my friend 36 for dinner with a water. They had no explanation for why. Then they only gave her 2 dollars back. THEN as we are leaving the OWNER chases us out yelling he “needs his money” that we owe them them 2.36 cents for a pop they forgot to add. Made us pull out change in the parking lot. Unprofessional in my opinion and after the unimpressive experience in the restaurant itself, I definitely won’t go back.

The food was amazing. the service was horrible. I have never seen such poor service. The kitchen knows their stuff, but the servers just don't give a darn.

Son found a metal wire in his Udon Soup last saturday, Manager refused to come out and address it, emailed complaint and they refused to reply. Complaint being filed with Brant County Health tomorrow. I don't take kindly to food contamination and the possibility of choking to death or ending up in the hospital. Paid full price for 2 lunches. 30 seconds of the managers time would have prevented it all but now instead 815 social media shares later and I'm sure its cost them much more than a free lunch. I went here for dinner the other night, and before then I had been enjoyed it here. But when I order sushi that is supposed to be deep fried and it's not, or our sushi is soggy from the ridiculous amount of bbq crab that was put on top. To top it off I waited over 30 minutes for rice. really not impressed. will not be returning

Will someone shut this place down already? Horrible servers that laugh and make fun of customers. Owner is even worse, doesn’t give a rat’s ass, which speaking of rats, is likely what you’re eating. The bathrooms will tell you everything you need to know about this restaurant. Joy Sushi is the same owner, do not be fooled. New location and name does not equal up to par standards.
