Dockside Seafood Grill - Branford

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I have to say, I will definitely be returning! I ordered the fried clam strips and they were cooked perfectly. They were lightly crispy on the outside but tender and sweet on the inside. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes, but my first experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this place. My friends and I visited this restaurant for the Fourth of July fireworks and had an amazing experience. Despite the busy crowd and a bit of a wait, we received our main course within an hour. Our server was friendly and kept us updated throughout the meal. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh.

This restaurant is located on a picturesque marina, offering stunning water views and plenty of outdoor seating in the shade. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. They have a wide variety of seafood options on the menu, all of which were expertly cooked and not greasy. If you're in search of a New England seafood restaurant with beautiful views, this is the perfect spot for you.

I have been to a lot of seafood restaurants, so I here is my take: This restaurant is overhyped and the quality is slightly worse than advertised. Their fish and chips were mediocre at best, but their lobster was pretty good. Compared to good seafood places like the former No Name restaurant, this only a good seafood restaurant, not a great one. Despite the food, the service was nice, and the location and atmosphere of the place was good as well. I would recommend this for first-time seafood eaters, but for frequent seafood eaters, you wouldn’t really miss much if you skip out on this one.

Just for a ride along the coast with my soul mate. We came to this primitive, hidden restaurant I found online. We decided to sit on the terrace to enjoy the sunset and see the water. Our waitress was amazing, very friendly, sweet and knowledgeable. There was a table next to us that sat a beautiful family. The drinks were so delicious, but when the food arrived, my mouth began to water. We ordered a master plate of various fried seafood. I'm not much of a roasted food, but the dough was light, crispy, not too salty and fresh. Everything was so welcoming and romantic. We will definitely return.
