Cafe Mumbai - Brandsende Hamburg

I absolutely recommend Cafe Mumbai for its great service and excellent food. I was looking for Halal Indian food options for a long time and I am really happy that Cafe Mumbai has been opened. Particularly the Chicken Tikka Masala Thali was spicy and awesome. The Pakoras were great too. I would love to try other items like Frankie's sometime. The owners were really friendly and the restaurant has a homely environment. Best wishes. Keep it up!

A real shame. I’m a California boy now in Hamburg with plenty of Indian food experience and I have to say that I’m really disappointed. I really thought I was going to have a taste of Mumbai, but the food had no flavor and the naan was rock hard in 5 minutes after ordering. They had a chance to make a mark in the city with traditional Indian food and they chose to serve sub-standard quality. Sad to be honest. Great food, especially the chicken frankie and sevpuri dahipuri. They surely have authenticity. A must visit restaurant in Hamburg for Indian food.
