Love this place! Food is delicious and they make great cakes!

I really enjoyed the food. The food came hot and fresh. The staff was very professional and apologetically over waiting times due to personnel problems. I got the ranch chicken sandwich and was juicy and piping hot! Bacon was crispy and cheese nice and melted. I also enjoyed my side salad. The salad was fresh, no wild pieces or fullness of kernel. After all, the French silk cake was. Was sweet, smooth and fresh whipped cream on top! Dream a chocolate lover when you ask me. I'd definitely come back here. Very refreshing atmosphere too. As someone with fear, it also did not feel overwhelming or stressful. Go and stop when you kill an hour or two.

Last night, which was Saturday, my husband and I stopped in to Village aunt for a cup of coffee and a slice of pie. It was about 8:35pm. We just wanted to have some desert. The restaurant was empty but I was pleased to see that the display case had the type of pie I liked. We were greeted by a nice girl who we asked about their pie selections. She informed us that the restaurant was closed because she had carpet cleaners coming and we could take it to go if we wanted. The whole point for stopping in was to have a desert and coffee in an environment that was not our home. We were extremely disappointed because we had just come from the mall where there were tons of choices. Personally, I feel that the restaurant should not have been closed on a Saturday evening.

Hadn't been here in a really long time, so thought I'd give it a go. Glad I did. Had the country fried steak skillet. The portion was plentiful,fresh and tasty. The meat had just enough breading on it and was cooked perfectly.Staff were all happy and seemed to enjoy their jobs and their fellow employees. Would probably order a smaller meal next time ? I could only eat half?
