The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Brandon

Had the prime rib, neither prime nor rib. Cut was more like a roast hip? The aus jus was not, it never saw the beef and was a funny taste. The tuna tartare was warmish tuna in a sweet sauce. I ate the guac only and the waiter cleared without questions about why the$17 of tuna was left The salmon was good, the shrimp garlic happy a hit. But I came for the beef and left disappointed.

We were celebrating our anniversary and were quite disappointed about a few things. I had the lobster tail dinner. The sides were unsatisfactory. The mushroom rice was all clumped together, not warm, had no flavor and the texture was like it had been sitting all day or reheated several times. I had to break it up with my fork but it was still mush. The asparagus was dry, no flavor and actually stuck to the plate. Again it was like it had been sitting on the plate for a long time and just dried out. I sent both of these back. The lobster tasted okay but was quite overdone (chewy and crispy). Thankfully there was hot butter. I waited for about 20 minutes to get a new plate of the sides by which time I had already finished my lobster. The replacement sides weren't much better. However, the service overall was very good, the waiter was responsive and apologetic (not his fault) and the manager didn't charge us for one round of drinks. Overall the quality of the food was very disappointing, especially for the price. I have to wonder if food is being cooked a long time in advance of service and left to sit for hours in warming ovens, causing it to dry out and lose flavor and texture. This is now at least 3 times in a row that we have been disappointed. We won't be going to this Keg again.

I have been to three Keg steakhouses and this was the first time with my family. Everything was perfect from the warm greeting to perfect food. And the server Andrea was amazing , she was engaging and sweet , answering all of our questions patiently . The drinks were perfect too. Overall excellent .

Great food and AMAZING service. My food was impeccable, service was great and the management went above and beyond to make our experience great. My server overheard me talking to my boyfriend how my steak was welldone instead of medium rare, and she brought it to her managers attention who was extremely apologetic and comped my whole meal. I really didnt mind that it was overdone as it was still delicious, but the fact that the manager went above and beyond to make things right when I didn't truly complain appalled me. Excellent place, would definitely recommend.

This restaurant is conveniently located and is known for having the best food and service in town. The seating is comfortable and the steak is always great. Despite it being the busiest time of the evening when I visited, the waiter kindly informed me that the kitchen was backed up. After enjoying a drink and the steak, I would have definitely ordered dessert if I had room.
