It is located in Bloomingdale Square, and it is one of the few restaurants that have been in this Plaza for many years. They moved into a larger space within the plaza and redesigned the interior a few years ago, which completely increases the entire culinary experience. It is so warm and welcoming with a lot of tropical decor. You have a table, stand and bar seat. You also have cocktails on the menu and not just your standard wine, beer and Saké. I know we have many great Sushi restaurants in the Brandon/Riverview/Valrico area. They are very special in their own way. But this place is unique that they also have Boba milk teas and smoothies, as well as build their own Poke Bowl menu. There are a variety of sushi rolls. Most of them are special roles. There is a lot of cream cheese (if this is your thing). One of my favorite roles is the Ninja Lobster Roll. It was quite brilliant! The baked Cheesy lobster topping really brings it to the next level. The only negative for some people would be that the roles are small and maybe rolled narrower than other sushi roles I had in the past. I think it's not bad. I hate it when they're too big. I have many other favorite roles. The New York Yankee, Rising Sun and Dancing Eel roles are some of my favorites. I also had the Aal, Scallop Special and Lachs nigiri, who are always great. Oh, and I almost forgot the appetizers. The TNT Mussels are so delicious. It has a beautiful mix of Japanese Mayo, Wasabi and Masago. Very delicious! Everything tastes great. I need a little to build up your own poke and/or bibimbap bowl. The bowls are fresh and fantastic! I get the bowls with a salad base when I feel like a healthy diet. You have so many toppings. I can never give up her house poke sauce. The bowl is perfect every time. Service can sometimes be met or miss. Mostly a hit. I keep trying different things. I haven't tried her Korean dinner yet, but I'll be in the near future. I'm sure they're just as great as anything else.
Had Calamari appetizer, was blah, looked like onion rings, taste was gumsh like. The combination of fried rice was really good, it shared with woman, huge plate enough for two.
I love how quiet the place was and I loved how they set it up. It doesn't feel like your typical sushi restaurant. It is much warmer and welcoming. I love the tables there they are so cool very artistic. Rind-Ninja rolls are really good with cream cheese. The service was good. I didn't know they'd give me a tip without asking me.
Very good place we were very surprised. The place is larger inside than expected with cozy stands. Weaked. They have ice-cold Sapporo and Boba tea. Sushi was decent and the fried rice and Teriyaki Steak was great. They had fried ice cream birthday cake!!! Family loved!
Very delicious sushi! The fish was fresh and tasty. It?s a busy place so I would recommend making a reservation or trying your luck with the bar. Will be going back next time I?m in the area!
