Corner Shop - Bramwell

Lots of great memories from my childhood here. Stopped in and had a Vanilla Coke, tasted just like I remembered. Glad to see The Corner Shop still going strong after all these years and continuing to make memories for all that pass through my hometown.

AMAZING service and food! A little pricey but well worth the money! I highly recommend if you are in Bramwell or Northfork, and surrounding area you definitely should check it out!!

We had been in to get trail passes a couple days ago and the ice cream looked great, so we returned today to give it a try. I also checked out the reviews ahead of time and at 4.7 was really looking forward to a banana split after a long day of riding. We first approached the counter where there were 4 employees standing behind, and awkwardly waited a couple minutes while none of them asked if they could help or even made eye contact. At that point we suspected we were not supposed to wait at the counter and took a seat expecting a server to come ask us what we would like. One lady eventually came and dropped off two menus and after another 10 minutes of sitting there, no one returned and we watched another flustered guest walk out without paying his bill because he was tired of waiting. My husband said he saw some of the staff on their cell phones behind the counter. It seemed maybe 2 of the staff were in training. Two more tables were filled up after we arrived, and they were served waters but no other returned visits to their tables either in the time we were there. After about 15 minutes, my husband suggested we leave or we’d be there 45 minutes for ice cream. I was very disappointed to have to leave, but I knew he wasn’t wrong in that assumption. I hope the owners are aware of the staff situation and can address it. They lost at least two customers tonight, us and the guy who eventually got tired of waiting and left without paying. Shame because the food looks good.

If you are within a hundred miles and don't go here you need to seriously evaluate your priorities! They make all their soda from scratch and the ice cream is all home made. There's more even enough words in the English language for me to describe how good the food the shakes and the soda were. And the people there are amazing. They stayed open for us and were so friendly and helpful. My one friend didn't even know how his drink kept getting full cause he never caught the waitress she was so smooth lol. Don't miss this opportunity you will regret it without even knowing how bad.

Old time soda shop in an old town. Food is wonderful and the Icecream is absolutely some of the best!
