Union Burger - Brampton

We used a gift certificate from the company that runs these restaurants, and a few others, in response to a review I'd written of our experience at Crabby Joe's in Stratford.We had a couple of veggie burgers with a large fries and a Budweiser. The price of a beer is reasonable so this is a good place to go if you want a beer with a burger.The portions are ample so you won't leave hungry. That's a plus; however, the veggie burger is the same as we have purchased in the grocery store. So there's nothing distinctive to this veggie burger to associate with this restaurant's brand. I don't eat in restaurants much anymore. The reason for that is because it is too hard to control the sugar, salt, and fat in restaurant food. I use very little salt at home so I found this meal salty.Service also tends to be slow. My husband wanted an ice cream cone after the meal and went up to the counter but the service was so slow that he decided to forget about the cone and we left.

Small restaurant with fast food seating.Cheap bottled beer, here.Reasonable price for a good, juicy burger on a nice, soft bun.Check all the specials and combos before ordering...some are better than others, depending on your preferences...some specials are posted on wall posters around the restaurant, not at the front counter. I didn't notice these until after we ordered.Simple burger has the best taste and value...even better if double-pattied.Worth a visit if you're a "burger wars" enthusiast.

Looking for a quick bite afterva long day we opted for a 3 star rated burger shop. Not disappointed, not amazed either. Burger and fries came out hot, their version of Poutine was also okay.Patties and fries were thhe frozen variety but a step above the "big chains.For donne and dash meL, the price was right....burger, fries and drink less than $5 Canadian. We agreed if in area again, in similar circumstances, We would go back

Better than the other fancy burger places but pricey for what you get. Topping were fresh and plentiful. The sitting area is spacious and clean. Washrooms are clean and there is lots of Parking.

I usually come here all the time, I ordered takeout. They barely put any toppings(paid for) gross cheese.
