Pickle Barrel - Brampton

Had lunch there, and the food was large portions and quite good. Large place and not enough servers. Extensive menu with something for everyone. Would return.

Pickle Barrel befuddles me! Over the years I've eaten here a handful of time, never having had a negative experience, but it's never something that pops into my head when trying to figure out where I want to go to eat. The menu is vast covering pretty much everything you could want. And all of it is done reasonably well. Marketing perhaps?

Nice ambiance, but it is the food that stands out. A good variety. The service could be better as some servers here are just plain nasty.

I reviewed here on 9th May after having a fabulous meal & great service so a big thumbs up ,So decided to go back before flying home & what a mistake that was!! We ordered steaks which came with fries & never got vegetables,finally got barmaids attention & she wasn't sure it came with any but said to chef who didn't know either but eventually said it should have & brought them out when nearly finished our meals,we also had ages to wait for more drinks, it was like visiting a totally different restaurant so big thumbs down this time as service was awful.

Would be a nice place if there was more staff for the take out the lady did the best she could do but overwhelmed with doing multiple orders and making up the orders she drop and order and had refund the customer as there was no more of the item she had ordered my sandwiches was a bit disappointed as I ask for lean meat and the beef was covered in fat couldn't eat it salad was delicious
