Contribuiți la feedbackI visited the place for Vietnamese soup. We ordered soup, a bubble tea and 2 bowls of Vermicelli each with chicken and beef. First, the price of soup have up to $8 for a small, $10 for a big and $12 for...an extra large and also the sizes of bowls reduced. I ordered a large bowl and got what used to be a small bowl. The quality of the soup was bad and so was the meat in the soup. I used bubble tea to $3.25 now its $5 for a small cup of bubble tea. It seems that management has become greedy and thus has increased prices by at least 20% and has reduced the shares by 20%. A bad strategy especially if there is no added value and benefit for the customer. I wouldn't recommend this Pho place. Even when I asked for the bill, it was $40.12, so I asked for a reception. She puts the numbers on the register and the bill comes to $36.73. I was surprised and asked how to change the bill. She ignored my comment and said not only $36.73. Another bad service.
So I was just thrown out of a restaurant I've been visiting for years. We continued to order 1 large Pho, which is usually sufficient for 2 people in my opinion. The waitress asked us to get two little Phos. I said I wasn't hungry and had a sore throat and just needed a light dinner. We asked for 2 bowls, 2 forks and hot green tea. Didn't understand. Recovered 1 dirty bowl, ice-cold green tea and the waitress made faces all the time, we asked them for something. When we paid, we asked to pack the rest of the Pho and she said she would charge us $2. I asked to speak to the manager, because this is unheard and the service was not something we were satisfied with. The manager refused to talk to us. The waitress told us without paying because she was not happy to serve us and the manager has better things to do than to talk to people like us. I said that would be ridiculous and would not come back here. She said we made a mistake even to let you in. The manager came out and said we were wasting her food. Chuckling sarcastically I told her I wanted to take her home because it was good. She started going to the door and said to go. Restaurant Pho Bo Saigon on Bovaird and Conestoga
Little family joint. Enjoy here with the family for a quick dinner option. The food is good and very cheap. They have many high chairs available, so it is family-friendly! The service is missing, however, seems as if they were a bit short. They need...more employees and they should smile a little more when they welcome and communicate with their customers.
I love Pho soups and spring rolls. Most of the top places are in ethnic Toronto areas, but since I live in Brampton, I've tried it. Soup was a bit bland, but still acceptable, not so impressed by the spring rolls. The table was dirty and all sauce containers were empty. Looks like a family business with her teenagers is running the front end. This can explain the mediocre experience. I'm staying with my Toronto-based favorites now.
We happened upon this restaurant while we were waiting in our vehicle to pick up our order from a neighbouring Chinese food restaurant. It looked very busy for a small place. So I decided to try it....and ordered a well-done beef flank soup to go....It was delicious! My husband and I returned another evening to dine in. I had the well-done beef flank and brisket soup, and he had the house special. Both were very good...and great value for the price, too. We recommend it and will definitely go back.
