Lily Thai Cuisine - Brampton

Bad service. We were not offered water at any time we had to ask for it after 15 minutes of waiting. Our food came out at drastically different times, the staff gave 2 of us our meals and 3 of us had to wait while the other ate and it was kind of awkward. Eventually 2 more entrées came to the table and 1 person didn't have their food yet and it was even more awkward all of us eating while 1 person had no food. We were the only people in the restaurant so it was not busy so there's no excuse for this. There were 2 items on the menu that we ordered we were told that were out of stock and unavailable so we had to look again and order something else. When we received our bill the staff added their own tip to the bill and we were expected to pay that amount. I think tipping is important and necessary of course I have no problem tipping but the issue is that I the customer should be in charge of the amount I wish to tip. The food was fine but nothing to get excited about for the price pretty expensive. It was not an enjoyable dinner experience and we won't go back to this establishment.

One of the worst Thai experiences I’ve ever had. From the waiter who took our order that didn’t even know what certain dishes on the menu were to my order being completely wrong and served cold. The red, yellow and green curries were absolutely awful. They were completely bland and didn’t even resemble any type of taste to thai and the pad thai was clumped together like it was sitting out for hours. Disappointed in the fact that I spent over $135 here and I ordered about 30 minutes before picking up to be served cold food is unacceptable.

I’m usually hesitant to leave ‘bad’ reviews (as I don’t want to negatively affect someone’s small business). I hope this comment can be helpful.I’ve ordered from this place a few times over the years as it’s the closest Thai place. Every single time, I’m always simultaneously surprised and disappointed that they haven’t improved their Pad Thai. So many comments here describe how utterly BLAND it is. I’ve had more flavorful Pad Thai from a food court! There’s literally no colour, no flavor. Please reformulate your Pad Thai.I still gave 3 stars because the other dishes have been fine. Recently I ordered: basil rice and Thai spicy noodles. They were actually…good?! I was so confused why the Thai Spicy Noodles was vastly different quality from the Pad Thai.If you want your business to be succeed, please consider listening to some of the constructive feedback.Best of luck. Used to be good, but ordered a chicken pad thai, all it had was 4 small pieces of chicken inside the box, and noodles were just boiled no sauce or flavour. Super disappointing, not what it used to be.

To be fair, I've only tried the takeout. It seems they may have changed cooks because the pad Thai I ordered in August 2023 was significantly better than the last time I had it. It was packed with umami flavor, spicy, and very satisfying. The red curry chicken was a bit heavy on the sauce and could have benefited from some bamboo shoots or other vegetables, but it was delicious nonetheless. The spicy basil eggplant was also good, though a touch too mild for my liking. Overall, the portion sizes were reasonable, and my friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I'd definitely order from them again. As for the service, they must have been quite busy, as I didn't receive an email confirmation for my online order, but someone did call me within half an hour to confirm it.
