Golden Empire - Brampton

I would advise avoiding this restaurant. We recently picked up our order and were disappointed with the quality. The chicken wings, egg rolls, and chicken balls were overcooked, and the beef and pepper dish was extremely chewy. Additionally, the chicken and rice lacked flavor. When we called to explain our experience to the owner, we received a dismissive response, with the owner saying "Too bad, so sad."

The portion sizes at this restaurant were generous, but the dishes did not meet our expectations. The Singapore noodles were not to our liking, and the Asian stir fry used regular broccoli and cremini mushrooms instead of more traditional Asian ingredients. The meat dishes were overcooked and dry, and the chili chicken lacked any flavor or spice. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience and do not plan on returning.

Very Flavourful, with great generous portions of several dishes which we enjoyed, and will be ordering again in Brampton.

We've lived in the Brampton area for more than years now and Golden Empire is our go-to place for Chinese food (it is takeout only). I had to order early afternoon on New Year's Eve as the staff had to stop taking orders the...previous year because it was so busy. The General Tao chicken and Bean Sprout Lo Mein are my favourite dishes but everything tastes good. Food is always fresh and hot. Golden Empire offers discounts around paying with cash and picking up your order. Enjoy!
