Jade Garden - Braintree

I would definitely order from this restaurant again! We opted for collection and our order was ready when we arrived. The person working behind the counter, who had red hair, was very polite and greeted me with a friendly smile. The food was perfect, just like always. I will continue to order from here! This is the best restaurant in Braintree.

Lovely food and excellent customer service from the young lady Amy who took my order. Her food recommendation was delish. Will definitely be ordering again.

We had a takeaway from here last night, our first time as our usual was shut. Safe to say it was a big disappointment! Soggy salt pepper chilli chips which we had to air fry ourselves and came with the bare minimum onions and peppers! Not what you expect when paying £5 for them. We spent £37 and thought it was abit cheeky you don’t get the usual free prawn crackers. Noodles were tasteless and the kung po chicken very sour.

I am extremely upset! This is the second time that I have received 'vegetable' pancake rolls with meat and seafood in them from this restaurant. I have a seafood allergy, so if I hadn't noticed the meat and prawns before eating, it could have made me very sick. Despite making it clear when ordering that we wanted vegetable pancake rolls, this mistake has happened before. Even though my son enjoys their food, I will never eat here again.

We’ve not ordered takeaway Chinese in longer than I can remember, as our previous favourite went down hill. Tonight (30/12/22) we tried Jade Garden ordered things we’d normally cook ourselves or would order out, so a benchmark was set they smashed it. Both great in quality quantity. Ordered 3 starters, 3 mains, 1 rice 1 noodle dish; we have enough left over for 2 more meals. All really well cooked, great taste delivery tonight was quicker than expected (but not too quick lol).
