Eastern Aroma - Braintree

I celebrated my birthday with my family at this restaurant, and they really made it special. They had decorations up, and after our meal, they brought out a dessert with a candle while playing "Happy Birthday." The staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place!

We have been ordering food for delivery frequently. However, last week the food was cold and soggy. We raised a complaint, and the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, today we experienced the same problem with cold food and soggy fries.

The decor is quite simple, but the food was enjoyable. The service was a bit slow, however, the staff were lovely—helpful and friendly.

With a heavy heart I have to give this negative review. I had previously eaten here and had a positive experience. Unfortunately the special fried rice I ordered had 4 prawns 6 peas and a couple of tiny bits of chicken and pork, mostly plain rice, disappointing. The chow mein was supposed to be chicken but given special chow mein with 1 prawn peas and barely any chicken at all. It was mother's day so I can forgive the 1 hour wait time, but a bit excessive for take away. If you wait for a long time then your meal should be perfect. Don't think we will return
