Double G's Pizzeria - Braintree

I ordered a chicken roast fry for just under $16, and I was really disappointed. I felt ripped off compared to other sub-shops in the area. The salad had only three small chicken strips, along with some peppers and onions that hardly made a meal. It was like getting three mice worth of chicken, a few peppers and onions, plus just 50 cents' worth of rice. I understand that food costs are rising, but this was frustrating. However, a few hours later, the owner reached out and offered to make it right for my next visit. It seems that a shortage of staff and inexperience are major issues in the food industry right now. I hope that things improve, and that the staff at GG takes the time to address customer concerns. Thank you.

I love this place! Every time I come here, I immediately know what to order. Although I sometimes really want to try the extensive menu options, my stomach and heart goes back to the basics of chicken parmesan sub. The sub of Double g's is great, it has a lot of taste from the first bite to the last. The fresh bread is great! Combines beautifully with crispy delicate chicken generously mixed with the perfect amount of cheese and a large bunch of sweet but savory tomato sauce. Seriously, what more can you want. The portions are quite large and the staff listens well to your order. The sub-image is creepy by the extra sauce. My suggestion would be to have a bundle of napkins on your hand before you enter this sub! Keep going great food and I keep going!

I had the XL Chicken Parm Sub for around $10, and I was quite satisfied. It was packed with tender, juicy chicken and had a fantastic flavor. For someone with a big appetite like me, it definitely hit the spot!

New owner and new renovations. Double GG's now has a comfortable private dining room to go with their great food.
