Dunmire's - Brainerd

The food was amazing, and our server Riche was fantastic! There was an impressive amount of food for the price. Plus, they have pull tabs, which is a fun bonus!

The food was incredible! Our server, Richard, was exceptional! Despite being quite busy, he made time to listen, even to our 4-year-old grandson, who had plenty of questions! He is a tremendous asset to the team! Thank you all for a wonderful experience on our first visit; we will definitely be back!

I wasn't very impressed with the food for my kids, but my meal was delicious, and the server was excellent! I ordered a kid's cheese pizza for my daughter, and she took a bite and immediately spit it out. She usually loves pizza! I tried a bite as well, and it was awful. The crust was soggy, the cheese tasted spoiled, the sauce was just spaghetti sauce, and the bread was basically flatbread. I honestly don’t think anyone would have wanted to eat it. My mother was only being polite by packing it up. The only positives for me were my own meal and the great service!

This restaurant is small but incredibly charming. I visited with my mother, who uses a wheelchair, and found it to be accessible for her electric chair, though it might be challenging for a manual one. It seems like it would be a vibrant place in the evenings. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and while it was busy, the service was quick. The food was delicious! I'm definitely planning to return when I'm in the Brainerd area again.

A friend who lives in the area brought us to their favorite restaurant. It was quite busy on the Saturday we visited, but the staff was friendly and worked well together. I ordered the 12oz ribeye with mushrooms and onions, along with Au Gratin potatoes and vegetables. It was absolutely delicious! My wife had the fried walleye sandwich; she said it was good but a bit overcooked. The pulled pork sandwich with homemade BBQ sauce also looked fantastic. It's a locally owned establishment, not a chain. I would definitely recommend Dunmire's.
