We were NOT welcomed in this place. When we arrived at the restaurant, no one who greeted us at the entrance did not have a big deal. Since half the terrace was empty, we decided to sit and wait at one of the empty tables. After five minutes waiting, with two waiters, without asking us one thing, another person came to the table and began to rebuking to not go inside and ask for permissions to sit.

Here with a bachlorette party. Amazing food! We chose an earlier dinner reservation, so it was very low and was only busy when we were gone. I visited this restaurant for a Mother’s Day lunch. The food was decent, but we ended up waiting an hour and 15 minutes for our meal. When we inquired about the delay, the manager informed us that it was their busiest day of the year and implied that we should have been aware of this. Unfortunately, we would have appreciated this information at the time of our arrival, as it would have helped us prepare for the wait or choose a different place.

We spent Mother’s Day evening in Bragg Creek, and The Bav Tav came highly recommended. We were not let down! Upon our arrival, the staff communicated that the kitchen was backed up, and there would be a wait before we could order food. We enjoyed some drinks in the sun while we waited, and it was definitely worth it. We chose some fairly simple dishes, but the flavors were outstanding. I absolutely plan to return to try more of their menu. I highly recommend this place!
