Contribuiți la feedbackThis place was fantastic. Lovely place for lunch on our day in the town. For the love of God don't get the chicken salad. It was a fine salad, but the haggis neeps and tatties with whiskey sauce was fantastic. If you are traveling like I was, you are not in Scotland to eat salad. Kid-friendliness: Had a high chair and the staff was great with our baby. Bonus: the haggis neeps and tatties was loved by our 10 month old. Food: 5

A lovely welcome from friendly and attentive staff, a great, spacious layout and good atmosphere and decor. Food was sadly way below the standard we’d expect, for such an iconic Braemar hotel. The roast chicken salad was really just a bit of chicken (perfectly cooked) on a bed of lettuce and the odd radish and green bean. No dressing, no real flavour and very bland for £18. The roast lamb was quite fatty and not much veg on the plate. Yorkshire pudding very nice though. What I’d expect from a pub in the 1990s, but Scottish cuisine has come on so far since then. Complained and staff were very apologetic and took the feedback on board.
Few negative reviews lately so posting to address the balance. Popped in on our way to Aberlour and food and service were superb. We had requested a quiet table for our dog and we were put into the snug. Will be coming back on our travels around the area. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
