Contribuiți la feedbackHighly recommend the World Peace cafe situated in the heart of Keighley. Situated opposite the bus station it’s a well located peaceful haven in the busy town centre. All food I’ve enjoyed there has been tasty served with a smile. And the red lentil coconut soup is sublime! The menu is fully vegetarian or vegan all food is homemade. The cafe also accommodate intolerances allergies to a very high standard. There are books magazines to read should you wish and there’s also a gift area offering books, candles, incense and cards. To the back of the cafe there is a family type room with a snug feel to it. Comfy couches tables make for an ambient visit plus there’s a well stocked book shelf offering donated books on sale for a small contribution. Each time I visit I feel calm well and am made to feel like a welcomed friend. Thank you World Peace Cafe
The World Peace Cafe is a wonderful place for a brew and/or a meal. We had the vegan panini and they were amazing. Toasted perfectly with humus and red peppers. They were fantastic. The cafe has two bookshelves of books for sale. One is in the adjacent room and they are wide range of used books. The new books are in the main room. They are books on Buddhism. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The cafe is run by volunteers. The World Peace Cafe is a great place to check out with delicious food.
Went today with a friend, was my first time and dont think I will be likely to return. When I ordered my food it was but down wrong so i was charged for what they put down. This was cheaper than what i asked for. I wanted a toastie but just got a sandwich. Am not particularly a fan of cheese so if I eat it I only ever have melted cheese. My friend is a vegetarian so we thought it would be a nice change. Not much choice on the menu to pick from either, and I felt completely out of my comfort zone in there and felt like I couldn't explain that I had asked for a toastie rather than a sandwich.
A beautiful tranquil veggie cafe set in the heart of busy Keighley opposite the bus station, The volunteer staff always greet and serve you with a big smile. Menu is varied and has vegan/ gluten free options. Home made soup is highly recommended. Without doubt the best fresh coffee in town with some scrumpy cakes.
Very disappointing first trip to the World Peace Cafe for lunch the specials as it turns out are small frozen microwave ready meals, with a handful of supermarket salad from a bag. Not at all what I 'd expect from a vegetarian cafe. Drinks were okay and it had a pleasant atmosphere.
