Status Fisheries - Bradford

I have been eating at Status Fishing for a long time. Back when they only had fish and chips and donner kebab, that's all they had. I am very familiar with this place. About 4-5 years ago, my family and I stopped ordering from Status because the food wasn't fresh, not well-prepared, and the quality had declined. We were disappointed as Status had been our go-to place for years, but we couldn't bear it anymore. During Ramadan this year, everyone was busy and there was a two-hour wait at other places. For some reason, I decided to give Status Fishing a call. My mother was not happy as she didn't want us to get food poisoning, especially during Ramadan. I took the risk and placed an order. The food arrived just 5 minutes before iftari and I was in for a huge surprise. I ordered a variety of items for our group of 8, and the fish and chips were exceptionally good. The fish was coated in a thin, crispy golden batter and the chips were perfectly cooked. The donner kebab was fresh and flavorful, just like before. The cheeseburgers were fresh and came with a generous portion of chips. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and delicious, and even the pizza was a pleasant surprise. We had tried the pizza before and didn't like it, but this time it was different. The margherita pizza had a good amount of sauce, cheese, and a soft crust, perfectly made. Every item we ordered was fresh and tasty, a stark contrast to our previous experience. Since Ramadan, we have ordered from Status at least 5 times and have never been disappointed. It seems like they have improved their food quality. My family now believes that Status Fishing is back and we have no complaints. The food is fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. I believe that as long as Status Fishing maintains these standards, they will continue to attract repeat customers and new ones as well. I will add more pictures when I remember to take them, but for now, we are just enjoying the delicious food.

Even if the 5 stars this place is 10/10 for me, I remember the old days where at school lunch (6 form in a local school) we used up to status fishing and got a thunder kebab or a burger meal or a fish repulsion. at a point I was addicted to her fish-aberst speciality, which was like a huge fillet o fish due to the tartaric acid sauce. very recommended place good size shares also!

I recently tried the fish and chips at this restaurant for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The portion size was generous and definitely worth the price. I will definitely be going back again.

I wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews. The pizza was completely stale! Do I need to say anything more?! The burger was just okay.
