I had an amazing time here last night. Originally, I had planned to dine at The Fountain, but they were fully booked. The staff at Wells Kitchen recommended that we make a reservation, and I'm so glad we did. I started with the mushroom brioche and then had the ognet steak for my main. It was the best steak I've ever had, and the mushroom brioche was perfect. Absolutely amazing.

The food at the restaurant was good. We had booked a table for 9, but upon arrival, no one greeted us or showed us to our table. Eventually, menus were presented and we selected our dishes. However, when we tried to order drinks, we were told that the prix fixe menu had ended and there was no available time shown. We had to rethink our choices. The staff was pleasant but seemed disorganized. Despite having worked in France for 25 years, I was disappointed as I did not expect such issues. I may consider visiting again in the future, as our hosts were apologetic. However, the owner did not seem concerned about the issues we faced.

We had an incredibly tasty meal for a special occasion. I started with the delicious Atlantic king prawns in garlic, followed by the mouthwatering chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese and pistachios wrapped in prosciutto. Everything was perfect! The service was excellent as always, the ambiance was lovely. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will definitely be returning soon.
