Franco's - Bradford

I have been to this restaurant a few times. The food is basic but satisfactory. However, during my last visit, I saw the owner yelling at a female customer. When a young waitress intervened and told him he shouldn't speak to a woman like that, he verbally attacked her, used offensive language, and ultimately fired her on the spot. It was the most horrible thing I have ever seen! I don't know the reason behind their argument, but the owner's behavior was completely unacceptable. I strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs.

The owner, Franco, clearly displayed racist behavior towards me, an African Caribbean woman, during my two visits to this restaurant. I have never experienced such hatred and negativity from an owner before. His looks and treatment towards me in public were appalling. Despite being seated and waiting for a while, Franco directed his staff to serve others before me. My husband was also shocked by the disrespect shown towards us. We will not be returning to this establishment and do not recommend it for black diners. It would be best to spend your time and money elsewhere where you are welcomed.

My wife and I had pre-ordered several pizzas for our son's birthday party, with lunch scheduled for 12:45 to allow for games before and after. We called Franco the day before the party to confirm that we needed the pizzas and chips to be ready by 12:30. He assured us there would be no issue. However, when we arrived at 12:20, we found ourselves waiting until 1pm with no word from Franco. We ended up having to settle for partially cooked chips, which Franco said he wouldn't charge us for, as he seemed unbothered. The pizzas were haphazardly thrown into a box, some of them upside down and completely inedible. Franco offered no apology for the half-hour delay in our order. We had chosen to support his local business over larger chains, but regretted it. Franco's lack of apology and indifference to the situation was disappointing. We will not be returning to Franco's and do not recommend it to others. Overall, a disappointing experience with no redeeming qualities. Thank you for nothing, Franco.

Reminds of a old Italian cafe, white table cloths, friendly and the coffee and the food is good quality fresh and great. Friendly loyal customers. You can sit for as long as you want i'ts that kind of place and i'ts licensed. Like stepping back in time but that's what makes the place..

Family brunch was great exceptional vegetable and pasta soup and great sandwiches/paninis. Relaxed friendly atmosphere every time we've been. Good beers and prosecco too
