Dick Hudson's - Bradford

Called as a family of 4. 3 had steak and one sea bass. Alex who served us was absolutely fantastic what a friendly and smiley member of staff! Brilliant customer service. The food was good, but overpriced for what you receive in my opinion, but I enjoyed it on the whole. Would I return ? possibly, but I feel there’s probably on par, if not better for the price bracket out there.

We had a great experience at Dick Hudsons during our recent visit. The service and attitude of the staff were both friendly and professional. The restaurant was clean, the drinks were excellent, and the food arrived promptly and was delicious, even though they forgot the avocado in the salad. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Poor service food ok. Our waitress tried her best sadly plates/bowls were chipped which is a complete no and we had to ask for our drinks as they took a while to come. As did the bill waiting over 20 mins.

Very disappointed with the food (told there was limited availability of some items when ordering) Soup was ok, main meals (my wife and I selected the same dish) The chicken was dry and very tough (suggesting it had been reheated) Avocado was over ripe and tasteless and the bacon was again dry. Our friends chips were like crisps.

We used to rate Dick Hudsons but now its below par. Whats gone wrong? We went for a Valentines Day evening meal, last year it was truly awesome, this year God awful. We had to pay a £10 booking fee which was NOT redeemable against our total bill. That is a rip-off. Good quality wines and decent beers but sadly at a price. Steak deal is a disaster, Rump steak, premium pricetag, poorly cooked and full of gristle ie cheap. A few chips and tomatoes, where were the onion rings and mushrooms which is standard in Steak Deal? Don't think there were two chairs the same in the restaurant, different styles, conditions and seat heights. Did some one say shabby chic, no just shabby!! On the plus side, our waitress Sammy was a delight as always. For Valentines evening the place was barely a third full, tells a story doesn't it.
