Ambrozja Polish - Bradford

I wanted to take my Polish girlfriend out for an authentic home-cooked meal and didn't know where to go. After checking Trip Advisor, I found this local restaurant and I'm so glad I did. I didn't tell her where we were going and she was a bit surprised by the outdoor appearance of the place. However, we were warmly greeted with smiles and quickly decided on some fantastic dishes from the menu. The quality of the ingredients and the taste of the food were amazing. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place. Please give it a try, it was very good.

This charming family-owned restaurant offers great value and delicious, satisfying meals. We noticed many Polish young people dining there alongside us, which is always a positive indicator.

Knowing I would be in Bradford for lunch, and checking out the various restaurant options on TripAdvisor, I came across Ambrozja. We enjoy Polish food and, whilst it takes a little effort to search out the venue, the effort was well rewarded. Authentic Pierogi, included in a wide ranging menu, in a relaxing ambience with welcoming staff. Recommended.

We were looking for a meal that was more than just ‘pub grub’ and read good reviews for this Polish restaurant. We were not disappointed. A hidden gem. Don’t be put off by the entrance it’s well worth venturing down the steep staircase! We were greeted warmly and all staff were very pleasant and friendly. Early Saturday evening and we did not pre book but the simply furnished and decorated restaurant was busy throughout our visit. The food was delicious and portions generous. I would highly recommend this fabulous Polish restaurant which serves tasty, home cooked food, at very reasonable prices.

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions over the years for different social occasions. The food has always been excellent in quality and extremely well priced. Do't be put off by the exterior because a true surprise awaits when you enter the ambience is warm and friendly. Everything is spotless and well ordered. Jolanta and her staff are very friendly and obliging. There is a wide range of authentic Polish dishes to choose from and everything is cooked fresh to order. Not one of my guests was disappointed by their visit. I highly recommend this restaurant to any foodie wishing to try Polish cuisine at its best at very reasonable prices .
