Sushi Train - Bracken Ridge

The food was delicious and was always good at camp, so we never waited for anything. The staff, where amazing and very attentive, is one of the best Japanese places I was. It's a shame I'm not from Brisbane, otherwise I'm always here.

We only waited about 5 minutes for a fantastic table. We ordered a few dishes and waited around 10 to 15 minutes for them to arrive. Some plates came out on a train, but the selection was limited. We placed another order, which took about 20 minutes. It was a bit frustrating to see customers who arrived after us receive their food before us. It seems like orders placed on the train have priority over other customers in the restaurant. However, the service was friendly and the food was delicious. We would give this place another try and hope that the wait time is shorter next time.

For the first time visitors to this store and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. came here with the family after a long trip for a quick snack and ended for a full meal. Sashimi was absolutely fresh and beautiful decorated with edible flowers and... other shrimp. The train was full of variety of sushi that made it easy for the rest of the family. The servers were friendly and prompt. The only thing I found strange here was the lack of drinks menu. Apart from a 5/5 experience.

We waited 20 minutes to be seated, but there was no food coming around on the conveyor belt except for maybe 3 plates. Throughout our wait, we were feeling uneasy (health-wise) and hungry.

We visited the restaurant and ordered an avocado roll, salmon tempura roll, kingfish, scallop, salmon, and curry egg roll. It was not a busy time and the restaurant was not filled with customers. There were only 2 kitchen staff working. It took a long time to receive our order and the avocado roll was terrible and not visually appealing. Additionally, the salmon tempura roll was cancelled due to a lack of success and took extra time. Even after cancelling the roll, it took over 10 minutes to receive our entire order. One of the staff members was seen putting too much sushi rice into a machine, causing excess rice to be used. Flies were present in the restaurant which was concerning. We were disappointed with the lack of hygiene control and food safety measures in place. Due to this experience, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
