Sandgate Hawks - Bracken Ridge

The food at this restaurant is fantastic for the price. The chicken parmigiana is especially delicious and is the best in the area. They also offer a seafood buffet and trivia nights. There is a membership fee of $5.50.

This is an excellent AFL junior club. It has lovely grounds and a very nice bar and an interesting hall of fame museum in the club house which is a very fine addition. The club is definitely the club you should send your child to if you want them to thrive in AFL as the coaches are first class. The only reason this is not a 5-star is because it doesn't have great sitting places as it isn't really on a hill. From the unbiased perspective of someone who doesn't and never played for this club, it is a fantastic club.

This club is fantastic with amazing people. It has been updated and is still as awesome as ever.

Nice grounds. Club rooms could do with a bit of a facelift.
