The Ugly Tomato Caters

Went for breakfast, the buttermilk pancakes were soft and fluffy, very delicious. The mushroom bruschetta was an excellent savoury choice. Looking forward to visiting again.

I have had crazy pregnancy cravings and have been dreaming of a Reuben sandwich for weeks. Lucky! Today was the day that I found a local cafe on menulog that would come to the rescue. Whilst the corned beef wasn't as corned as I would personally like (salty, pink, flaky) and came more of a rare roast beef style, the sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, pickles and dressing on thick dark rye was absolutely bang on. The seasoned waffle fries were also a delight. Those in my office were smelling and walking past my desk in envy. A huge, satisfying meal. I'll definitely be back.

Found this place on Zomato, and decided to go based on the menu and the pictures of the food. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the prices fair. The food came with a really big portion size and was super nice. We got Reuben sandwiches, and there was lots and lots of fresh corned beef, great sauce, everything. Instead of hot chips, the sandwiches we ordered came with crisps, which was a surprise but exciting since you don’t get that much here. Overall very good, would go back!

I had to edit my review after having their Thanksgiving dinner special as it was delicious! We're really enjoying the new dishes which are wholesome, generous portions and full of flavour. It's nice to have a local cafe that does authentic American food. We also like that they're BYO drinks. We'll definitely be back.

Hm. More a 3.5 star experience for me personally, the flavours weren't quite to my taste profile. Owner has a good sense of humour. Everything was executed well, just not my cup of tea.
