Mentioned about the nice cured salmon from the Groundhog Social Manly that reminded me a negative impression of smoked salmon that I had here.Went in one of the morning. The banner of serving Bellissimo coffee gave me an initial confidence. Took a seat and ordered my favourite poached eggs with additional smoked salmon. I could not say there was any mistakes from this dish but the portions of the smoked salmon was very mean. If not because the coffee was acceptable, review mark will be low.Rating: 3.5/5

We went down the road and stopped by this cafe for a quick breakfast. The staff welcomed us briskly and we sat outside. The menu is large enough to have an option for everyone and I ordered a iced caramel latte and we both ordered the eggs Benedict croissants. The flavour was great and very filling while the prices were very decent too.

Favourite coffee in Newstead, staff are all friendly and welcoming. Delicious coffee and delicious food. Definitely recommend dropping by to check it out

For meals, we chose the 'specials for the day ', including the 'belgian waffle special ' the standard belgium waffles with fruit and ice cream, as well as the 'pad thai ' a very generous serving of pad thai, with various textures and bonus spring rolls.<br/ <br/ Friendly and efficient service. Limited seating indoors and outdoors it is more popular with locals grabbing takeaway coffees. Reasonable prices. Wifi available (ask for password).<br/ <br/ Overall, a lovely spot for coffees and a quick meal.

For me, El Cafe has one of the best cups of coffee available in Brisbane.<br/ <br/ This rating is purely based on how good their coffee is. They have some very experienced Baristas who have a clear passion for coffee, and this is evident when you take that first sip!
