Contribuiți la feedbackFirst time at Dosa Hut didnt disappointment. Its difficult to find an authentic indian restaurant. But finally managed to find one.<br/ <br/ Though the menu is the length of a research report, its easy to read and staff are most helpful to answer any questions.<br/ <br/ Food was served quickly and reasonably priced and riced. Would recommend the special spice.<br/ They didnt skimp with protein which is a rarity these days.<br/ <br/ From what i could see, the restaurant was well decorated and clean.<br/ I asked for medium hot but next time, will definitely ask for Indian hot! Just for a good ol cleanse.
Re-visited this restaurant last night. We could not find the previous 70cm Dosa on the menu so changed to order the Chef Signature Dosa with veg. ingredients. Besides that, we ordered one pcs of Samosa, one pcs of Sambar Samosa and an extra Vegetarian Biryani with mild spicy level. Honestly, it was the first time to have Sambar Samosa, which is very interesting just like the Samosa serving in curry sauce. We loved both Samosa dishes. Chef’s Dosa waa let down as we still loved the previous giant 70cm Dosa. Biryani was a surprise because it looked plain on the top but the spiciness really hit me after I stirred the bottom ingredients with the rice. Very interesting experience. Love it : <br/ Rating 4.5/5 <br/ <br/ Oct 21, 2017 Rating 4.5/5 <br/ Had the recent good dining experience at the Gol Gappa Indian Street Food, we decided to go for the Dosa Hut Mt Gravatt for our vegetarian dinner last night. Arrived before 6:oopm and it was already half occupied. The menu offers tremendous variety of Indian Dora with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. We order the signature 70cm Dosa with four stuffings and a dish of Indian-Chinese vegetarian fried noodles. Of course, the mango lassie is the a-must. When the Dora came to the table, we were shock with such a long Dosa, which really occupied half of the table. As usual, I love to go with those dips, which came in three choices. The four stuffings of onions, potatoes, eggs and parsley were all carefully wrapped inside the Dosa. It was just so amazing to tear off the Dosa in pieces and had them with the dips. Next one coming was the vegetable fried noodles. Initial visual judge was just something like a Singapore Noodles without curry flavour (well, Singapore Noodles is a dish in the Chinese menu but there is no such kind of dish in Singapore ; however, the first mouthful trial gave me a shock. The noodles looked dry but they were moist enough with delicious flavour. Even until the time that I am writing this review, I still cannot think out how they can do it except putting MSG in it. Well, I think they must have their own 'tricks of the trade '.
Dosa hut was a good experience!! The location was great with good amount of parking. The team were good as well. <br/ Our food was served super quickly, so it was good. <br/ <br/ Chilli Chicken (dry) The Chicken was really dry and felt like I was eating plastic. This dish is a popular dish in South India, considering that it should not be served pre made. 1/5<br/ <br/ Samosa Chat Samosa was really soggy (definitely not fresh), but the flavours were good. 2/5<br/ <br/ Butter Chicken dosa The dosa was a bit dry and the butter chicken was served on top of the dosa. Butter chicken was good. 3/5<br/ <br/ Ghee podi Dosa This dosa was perfectly made with good amount of ghee and podi. Nice and crispy with good flavours. 5/5<br/ <br/ Ghee Podi idly The idly was super soft and perfectly made. But the ghee and podi were just not enough (considering podi ghee to be the main seasoning on the dish). 4/5<br/ <br/ The chutney (Coconut tomato) were great with delicious flavours. We would come back to try other dishes from Dosa Hut.
My first vegetarian bryani. Pretty impressive and service was prompt. Totallly enjoyed eating with my hands! The mango lassi that we had was average. Had tasted better ones before. Definitely a place to go for bryani in future.
Found a new place I'd return again and again for dosa!!! We ordered the 70cm dosa with masala stuffing and chicken 65 briyani. Both were really delicious! It's really delicious Indian food that I'd return to when I'm in the area. They also have a student discount and discount when you pay by cash!
