I was disappointed after reading Xiaohongshu. It tasted terrible... There weren't many bullfrogs in it, and it tasted terrible. Won't come again... Price per person: A$40–60

I ordered takeout, but after waiting for half an hour, no food was served, and everyone else had finished eating and left. I ignored anyone who asked me to order the food, and kept telling me it would be out right away, but I didn’t ask for it. Not very satisfied. Today is the last time I come to Sichuan-Chongqing Hui, and I will never come back again. I originally came all the way from the city. When I ordered online, I noted Eat in the store, thank you. But they didn 't see it at all. The sauerkraut fish I ordered was also pre-made, not freshly made. I went to the waiter to ask. They said that none of their current fish is freshly cooked. If it 's not freshly cooked, why can 't I cook it myself? Why do I come all the way here to eat pre-made dishes? When you go to a restaurant to eat fish, don’t you just want to eat it fresh? Do you think you are fooling others if you are not crazy? I will never eat from your house again, bye.

Before I forget to say it, when we were here, the food came out FAST. It was like we just ordered it and bam it was out. The vibe here is a little more upmarket than the other restaurants around market square. It is definitely a bit more traditional and has some higher quality dishes. The service was a bit lacklustre. The girl who served us was okay but kinda mumbled the dish name/ just put it on the table without saying anything. It just seemed a bit unfriendly but I understand she probably might just not be as experienced. All the food is pretty flavourful. We got the cold chicken in chilli sauce which was a bit too spicy for me, but also weirdly refreshing. We got the stir fry chicken in green chilli which was definitely a favourite nice and tender and good flavour. Finally, we also got the Mongolian beef which was also soft and flavoursome, but probably not what I’d expect for “Mongolian beef”. Still great. I’d definitely recommend coming here. I see it as a slightly nicer place to treat friends and family to! Great decor and good atmosphere and vibe.
