Betty's - Boyne Falls

I would recommend steering clear of this restaurant unless you're prepared to wait a long time and have a very unrefined palate. It took 45 minutes from the moment we ordered to when our food finally arrived. My biscuits were undercooked in the center, and there was barely any sausage in the gravy. I hope they find someone who actually cares about the quality of their food. By the time my meal arrived, I was practically shaking from hunger.

The food here is fantastic and always served hot. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It's a classic American diner experience. I noticed that while a few people have left negative reviews, most comments are very positive. For those who are concerned about the prices, have you checked grocery store prices lately? They've gone up just like everyone else's. As a former business owner, I understand that when costs rise, you sometimes have to adjust prices to stay afloat. You can't just absorb those costs without impacting your business!

I had a wonderful experience at this diner this morning! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. One person in our group has food allergies, and they went above and beyond to ensure we were properly accommodated. I really hope to return to the area someday so I can visit again. Hometown restaurants truly are the best!

For being a small simple diner on the highway, $70 for 4 basic meals. If you get fries instead of chips, it's a $4 uncharge. French toast is 2 slices with nothing that comes with it. The wait staff were young so a little empathy goes a long way but seeing them behind the counter eating and drinking their meal while our cups were all completely empty is frustrating. We used to love Betty's.
