Horrible! Worst food I've ever ordered at any restaurant, ever! Tea was so sweet I had to buy a bottle of water to weaken the sugar so I could drink it. Fried chicken was so tough and dry you couldn't chew it. Meatloaf was dry and crummy and smelled like dog food, made my date vomit. Mac n cheese was made with some kind of canned cheese sauce that tasted like butter or some artificial fat, no cheese. Green beans were so salty, e could only eat the first one. Two other tables that were seated after we came in got their food before we got ours as we waited 25 minutes on ours. All this to the tune of $12.99/plate. These people know nothing about real Southern cooking and are an insult to Southerners and real Southern cooks! Don't waste your time or money unless you don't know what good food is! Horrible and insulting!!

Sat and waited for 30 minutes wasn't even acknowledged offered a drink or anything. Won't go back

Amazing food and staff. Our children were really tired and whiny. The staff did an amazing job cheering them up.

We had a delicious meal of Chicken and Dumplings, fried okra, cornbread and sweet tea. It tasted just like my mother’s when I was growing up. The owner and her son were delightful. Please try this special place. You will not be disappointed.
