Double D's Smokehouse - Bowling Green

The food was bad for the point of unbearability. The rib meat was hard and dry, the green beans seemed skillful, and somehow the grain bread was sickly sweet. You even screwed the bride!

Locked in quarters because no trip to BG is completed without a quarter visit. They saw that they offered food through Double D's Smokehouse and decided to give him a shot. Absolutely glad I did it! Ordered the pick two combo (Rib Tips and Brisket from the plate menu and got the baked beans and Mac-n cheese as sides. General part and enough to feed two people (or a hungry college child. Rib tips were full of taste and juicy. The brisket tasted a little tangent, which was unique. The beans had small pieces of meat (cratt? bacon? the added taste and the BBQ sauce was on point. The only criticism would be the mac-n-cheese. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't out. The guy who runs Double D's is a great guy and very courteous. In any case, you must try back to try some other things on the menu!

Great food! the drawn black salad is amazing! better than most BBQ-joints I was in, and I'm out of the south.

The food is amazing, best BBQ I had. Owner is very open to all suggestions you have about the business. Would recommend anyone interested in a type of BBQ around the area. Eating again amazing!
