Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

I absolutely love Cheddar's! The dish in the picture was the New Orleans Pasta, and it was fantastic! The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was well-trained. The presentation was outstanding, and our waitress was incredibly helpful!

On August 14, 2022, my husband and I were heading out and decided to indulge in a nice dinner. We were not disappointed! Our waitress, Ashley, was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. If you're looking for a delicious meal in a clean and comfortable setting with excellent service, this is the place to go!

Our server was a sweet girl, but the level of service fell short. We ordered water with lemon, a special cocktail for the evening, and ice cream. Our meal choices included soup and salad, followed by our main courses. First, we received our water and some wonderful croissants. When our server brought our dinner, I kindly asked her to serve our soup and salad first. She agreed but seemed frustrated when I told her the food had to be served back because everything was cold by the time we finished our appetizers. She looked unhappy about taking our main courses back, and I explained that the longer it took, they would need to cook fresh meals as the original ones couldn’t stay warm or fresh. At this point, my daughter decided to forget the cocktail since it had still not been delivered. We finally received the soup and salad but, unfortunately, our server appeared annoyed. To her credit, she was never outright rude, but it was puzzling that she couldn’t understand why we’d rather not eat our soup with our main course when everything was going cold. A good server should recognize when to pace the meal, especially if customers are having appetizers. Forgetting a drink is surprisingly unprofessional; my daughter ordered that cocktail and it was almost forgotten entirely! We wanted to unwind after a long day and enjoy a pleasant dinner at a comfortable pace, not have to instruct the staff on how to serve our food. In Kentucky, we’ve experienced dining where salads and soups come first with a break before the main courses, and that felt much more organized. While the food was decent, the experience unfortunately overshadowed the evening. It's frustrating to feel like you have to manage the staff when all you're trying to do is relax. I feel bad for leaving such a negative review, especially since my daughter usually enjoys Cheddar’s. Now, she might question my recommendations in the future.

So has cheddars in the run of the years I have not been to this year, there the menu watered. the restaurant still looks clean and you can see the staff always clean tables etc. our waiter was attentive and friendly. eating was good, but it wasn't great. I can't put my finger on it, but a food meal. the sweet croissants.

We went to Cheddar’s for a business meeting on a Monday night. And honestly we were a bit disappointed. Shrimps were out on the pasta, and even more unexpectedly the ribs were lukewarm only. No fall of the bone either. Service was fast and friendly, but overall the food experience was mediocre.
