Sweet Boys Diner - Bowie

We had time to spare before the football game, so we stopped in for a quick bite. Boy, were we glad we did! The whole experience was a throwback to small town USA and we loved every second!!Our waitress, the daughter in law to owners, was prompt, helpful, knew her business inside and out and was super personable. We really enjoyed her!We had chicken strips with Mac n cheese, a chicken salad sandwich on homemade croissant, homemade chips and salsa, and chicken fry. All were delicious! I'm a chips and salsa fan, and this was as good as it gets! If you are in the mood for a delicious dessert like grandma used to make, run to this place now! The pie crust was perfection and the meringue was piled high and fluffed as high as I've ever seen. Both the chocolate and coconut were exceptional! But, potentiality better than both of those, definitely richer, was the oreo cake. My sister would die for this recipe, which they keep guarded tightly!We will definitely stop there when we're in town for the next sporting event!

Busy place, had a short wait. Food was very good and service was good. Try this place, you won't be disappointed.

It was very good and the staff was amazing. we had the fried pickles, the chicken strips , the El Paso burger, the mushroom swiss burger. all of it was good and so was the dessert definitely recommend.
