My first time with a poke. Excellent experience! The customer service was superb and food was delicious. Quick and easy dinner. Id recommended.

If you love sushi, you will love your customized poke bowls. The staff is extremely friendly, walk you through a Chipotle like style build of your bowl. Staff explain in detail the flavor profiles of the proteins and add-ons depending on your taste and put together a phenomenal healthy feel-good meal for you. If you want to be bad there is Dole whip soft serve is a delicious way to end the meal.

I?ve been seeing this restaurant pop up every time I look up poke bowls so I decided to check it out when I was in the area. The food wasn?t fresh at all! It tasted like it was sitting in the refrigerator for days! Yuck! Beautiful presentation but disgusting!

I love their food but I think this location is permanently closed now. I placed an order on 1/1/23, drove to get it, and the store was locked/empty. I thought maybe it was due to the NY holiday. But I went back on 1/22/23 at 4pm and again there was nobody in the store, lights off. Every time I've called their number (301) 860-1918, nobody answers.My advice is to call the store first before placing any online orders.

Today was my first visit and wow!!! I am excited now. Yes, I was one who passed this spot often and kept walking, while thinking there was nothing here I would like. But...baaabyyy let me tell yall TRY IT!I Built my own bowl with the help of Kim 's knowledge, expertise and patience to guide my selections. So this is what we created:Base brown rice/spring mixProteins shrimp/shrimp/chicken (these are the cooked options along with octopus (NOT) cause raw just is not appealing to me)Mix Ins edamame, OG Veg (jalapenos and something good!)Marinating Sauces Wicked Wahine, OG Sauce (don 't recall the ingredients, but yum!!)Toppings pickled ginger, scallions, mango salsa, seaweed, chili flakes, sesame seeds, tempura crispsFinishing sauces ono ono, togarashi (these here sauces!!!! great finishing touch!!)The ingredients were fresh, portions were ample, and the bowl looked and smelled amazing! I headed home excited about my lunch creation. Arrived home, grabbed my fork, and dug in....O M G. The flavors all came together for a very palate pleasing experience. My smiles and moans of joy drew my attention and suddenly 2 more forks appeared. They all said that is GOOD! What is it? Well, after MY bowl was empty (and my stomach too, because I had to share), I RETURNED to Island Fin Poke (yes, 2 hrs after my first visit) AND BOUGHT 2 MORE BOWLS. I will definitely frequent this spot in the future and encourage those who seek variety to try it!!
