Ruddy Cafe - Bowen Island

Practically everything was closed on Monday when we went to Bowen Island. So needing some places to check we came upon the Ruddy Potato healthy and organic grocery store and inside lies the Ruddy Potato Cafe.  . Needing a place to sit anyway to figure out what other places were still open on Mondays, I grabbed a few sausage rolls and started planning. Had the pork sausage roll and the beef and pork sausage rolls. All the baked goods were made in house, using locally sourced and organic ingredients. The pastry was quite flaky but I found the meat was lacking in flavor.

Much better than the last time I went here. The soup is really good!! Happy service and great soup. First time I went a few years ago it was terrible pizza and the same old stuff you would find at a gas station but I guess someone has changed the menu and you must ask for the soup of the day I had it three different times and it was amazing every time cant wait to come back and see what they have next time!!
